Tea Forte, Inc. is Hiring a Demand Planner Near Maynard, MA

Description

Tea Forté, a fast-growing tea and coffee company headquartered in Maynard, MA, is expanding our team with a new Demand Planner role, reporting to the Director of Demand Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly demand and sales forecasting process in close collaboration with the sales teams.
  • Develop analysis models by channel and platform for key insights and recommendations
  • Analyze, identify, and implement opportunities for improvements to the forecasting process. Improving both the efficiency (streamline) as well as the effectiveness (accuracy) of the process
  • Liaise with Sales Directors to update the latest estimates each month: Latest estimates by month for remainder of the year
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, establish parameters for forecast exception and making appropriate revisions
  • Monitor existing and incoming inventory; determine causes of excess inventory as well as inventory shortages
  • Create launch forecast templates for Channel Managers, tracking, analysis, postmortem of special and new product launches
  • Create monthly Sales & Inventory tracking and KPI reports
  • Communicate Rolling 12-Mo demand needs for capacity planning
  • Manage monthly Inventory Aging evaluation and recommendation
  • Lead ongoing sku rationalization process
  • Develop detailed understanding and ownership of each channel’s demand
  • Prepare Demand Review for monthly IBP (S&OP) cycle and meetings.

Requirements

  • Highly analytical, able to work cross functionally, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in working within a S&OP (IBP) process.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting and data analysis.
  • Excel super user, experienced with PowerPoint.
  • Within driving distance of Maynard, MA.
  • Experience working with NetSuite ERP.
  • CPG, good/beverage background.
  • Applicable supply chain certifications/credentials (such as APICS), highly preferred.
  • Applied experience with statistical and numerical data modeling.
