Summary: The Director Corporate Sales to direct the overall performance of the sales force.Leading strategic planning and assuring outstanding CRM practices with accounts to maximize profitability is a primary focus. Providing overall leadership onsales execution and assuring effectiveness of the Sales Team while establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territory, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Responsibilities:Accountable for sales and gross profit plans in the divisionMonitor and evaluate Sales Associate performanceDevelops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.Prepares action plans for individuals and teams to execute on sales leads and prospects.Leads development of action planning to penetrate new markets.Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.Conduct sales update meetings on a regular basisAssure execution of department goals and maintain accountabilityProvide solid Customer Relationship ManagementProvides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Assist Sales Associates in preparation of proposals and presentations.Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codesWork to support sales KPI’s while growing the businessQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales function. A minimum of 5 years of experience in food distribution.Experience working in a high growth business.Language Ability:Bilingual in English/Spanish a .Ability to read, analyze, and interpret sales data and trends.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.Math Ability:Basic math skills with addition, subtraction and multiplication. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advance level of expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of, JDE, & other sales programs.Must be able to operate common office machines.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
