A growing Sleep clinic in the greater Laurel, MS area. The practice focuses on the treatment of sleep related breathing and movement disorders, and hypersomnolence. There is very little focus on general Medicine. No in clinic surgical procedures performed. No in clinic sleep studies performed.
Minor injections for respiratory tract infections may be administered.
Seeking individuals who can function independently and efficiently. Individuals must be willing to learn sleep terminology which includes diagnosis and treatment of multiple sleep disorders. Applicant must feel confident in discussing test results with patients. Applicants will be trained in how to interpret sleep reports, how to order therapy based upon sleep report results, how to download CPAP Smartcard, and how to adjust CPAP machine manually in the clinic. Applicant must be willing to establish relationships with local durable medical equipment companies for administration of supplies to patient.
Applicant will not be required to interpret sleep study raw data. Applicant will need to become proficient at reviewing sleep reports and discussing results with patient.
Applicant must be comfortable treating at least 50-20 patients daily.
