As our Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, innovation, and performance of Midtown Athletic Club’s paid media investments including search, social, and display. The primary focus will be implementing paid media campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and member acquisition, as well as increasing SEO value. In this role, you will work closely with the creative, digital marketing, contracted digital PPC agency, and sales teams. You will report to the Digital Director and sit on the digital marketing leadership team, which is part of the overall marketing organization at Midtown Athletic Club. The team has a hybrid work model, working out of the corporate office in Chicago, Illinois on Mondays, and Tuesdays. What Success looks like: Define, and maintain prospective members’ digital media journey with a focus on generating membership leads for our club sales team and increasing website membership sign-ups. Paid Media: Help develop digital campaign strategy in partnership with PPC agency, reporting on digital media campaigns, including, but not limited to, creative briefing, specs, trafficking, pulling reporting, optimizations, analytics, and budget management. Agency Management: Serve as the main contact with our current contracted Digital Agency, offering clear timely direction and ensuring alignment of expectations. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Ability to create targeted digital segmentation strategies to and understand how they contribute to our Sales Funnel, improving and adjusting based on results. Keyword Copy: Write and improve keyword search terms, analyze trends and implement improvements to increase search value SEO: Apply the foundations of localized eCommerce SEO and share updates needed with the website marketing manager to implement best practices (on-site web improvements, web content development, page optimization, crawlability, etc.) Reporting: Ability to analyze pre, during, and post-campaign results and provide analytical and valuable insights to support decision-making. Collaboration: Partner with creative, sales, and digital team members to ensure plans are aligned to result in the highest goal completion. Experience Required Minimum 4–5 years of experience in either digital media or growth marketing Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline Experience in multiple digital advertising platforms - Facebook, GoogleAds, TikTok Proven search skills, optimization, and bid management techniques for complex paid search campaigns Proven ability to optimize site SEO value, with a focus on location-based SEO Experience with web analytics platforms required - Google Analytics Strong analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into creative, results-oriented actions Bias towards action with an openness to experimentation `*To submit application, please apply online or send resume to talent@midtown.com This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
