TB Realty is a multi-faceted, rapidly growing Real Estate company seeking a highly motivated, full-time HVAC technician to join our team.

This individual should have basic electrical knowledge and should be able to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems without supervision. This individual will also be performing electrical work, jobsite inspections, and other specialty work when they are not engaged in HVAC work. Work will be conducted at ongoing construction projects as well as occupied single-family and multi-family rental properties.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements

Assisting with general construction labor on jobsites

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent

3 years experience as an HVAC technician with 608 certification and willingness to continue education in HVAC field

Valid driver’s license

Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating

Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols

Willingness to perform other specialty work when not working on HVAC systems

Proficient in reading schematics and work plans

Basic electrical knowledge (low-voltage)

Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice

Ability to work in confined spaces
