Summary:

The Distribution Center Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the efficient and effective warehouse operations within our distribution center. This role involves managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring proper inventory management, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The supervisor will also implement and improve warehouse processes to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and implementing proper inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, including managing carrier relationships, freight logistics, and documentation.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.
• Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development plans for warehouse staff.
• Resolve any warehouse-related issues, such as inventory discrepancies, order errors, or equipment malfunctions, in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in warehouse management systems and technology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers. 

Qualifications:

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Forklift certification or other relevant equipment certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring inventory integrity and order fulfillment.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. 

Physical Requirements:

• This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including but not limited to knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Working Conditions: 

• This job is performed in an environment that may be exposed to heat, noise, and other environmental factors associated with food production in temperatures ranging from 32° to 50°.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Working Schedule: 2nd Shift ( Mon. – Fri. 2:30PM -11:00PM | Sat. 6AM – 11AM ) | Available to work on flexible schedules, such as weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Hourly Rate Compensation: $20/Hr. - $25/Hr.
