Responsibilities:

Area of Responsibility

Responsible for Integration & Packaging of Electrical components in the vehicle which includes HV battery system and associated HV components, all LV components along with HV & LV wiring harnesses. Also responsible for executing the activities necessary to ensure validated release and sign-off of dedicated vehicle components and sub-systems including co-ordination to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas.

• Packaging responsibility of the complete electrical system including sensors, controllers, switches, electrical modules, infotainment & speakers and wiring harnesses.

• Packaging of HV battery system and associated HV components as per standards.

• Components to be packaged as specified in the customer’s Tech Spec and/or by interaction with the supplier to ensure acceptable function of the component in considerations of the surrounding vehicle geometry.

• Coordination with other departments for wiring harness mounting/fixing requirements (holes/weld studs/ brackets)

• Design validation using applicable Design Rules for Checking clearances, Temperature zones, Vehicle dynamic conditions and fixing locations with mechanisms etc.

• Responsible for project documentation to participates in design reviews at various design phases and project-timing plans for communication with customer.

• Required to check all PLM releases using TCE or TCU in line with the company standards and program timelines.

• Ability to provide technical guidance and coordinate with CFT teams for prototype building activities.

• Knowledge of DFMEAs, DFM, Design and Development of complete Electrical components.

• Work according to client specific product development life cycle, DVP, FMEA, Risk Analysis and APQP.

• Knowledge of Wiring Harness manufacturing assembly processes.

Salary: $80,199.02 - $95,000.00 per year
