Taronis Fuels is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced growing accounting team.
This position requires an innovative thinker who is keen to learn new technology and big on continuous improvement. You will have a strong grasp of GAAP, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities• The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills to best support the accounting team.
• Perform analysis and create ad hoc reports as requested by management
• Provide support for quarterly, interim and year-end audit engagements
• Support GL upgrades, improvements, and implementations
• Assist in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
• Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

Relationships/Skills/Competencies

• Minimum of 1-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure
• Ability to adapt to processes and deal with ambiguity
• Clear, effective oral and written communication skills are required
• A highly collaborative team player. Comfortable working across department lines with people at all levels in the organization
• Must be flexible. Experience working for or with rapidly growing organizations is a plus
