Tantus Technologies is Hiring a Remote Business Analyst
Overview
Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeing a recent college graduate or someone seeking a career change to join as a Business Analyst (BA). You will work closely with the team as you develop the skills to work independently with our client, providing administrative support, assuming ownership of several client tools, and providing project management and Agile support and mentoring.
In accordance with applicable law and Company policy, full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position, and proof of full vaccination status will be required on the first day of employment.
What You'll Do
- Schedule, attend, and facilitate meetings, including developing agendas and capturing minutes and action items
- Manage project action items, risks, issues, and decisions (RAID)
- Develop and manage project task plans, proactively working with client to ensure they are successful in project execution
- Provide coaching and mentoring on project management best practices as well as Agile methodology
- Perform data analysis and report generation
- Manage client tools currently based on Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
- Provide client support on tools such Atlassian, Slack, and Excel
- Work with client to solicit requirements for Jira boards, develop user guides, and train and mentor the team as they adopt this new technology
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree, related field preferred
- 2-3 years’ work experience, preferably as a requirements/business analyst. Will substitute appropriate college internships or cooperative work programs
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Ability to analyze and interpret business or program needs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding/ interest in the healthcare/IT fields
Nice to Haves
- Experience with work management systems such as Atlassian
- Experience with or understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
