Were hiring an IT Support Engineer to join our team. This position will address company technical issues by identifying and providing effective solutions.

What youll be doing:

• Installing and configuring company computer systems.
• Responding to staff IT support requests.
• Meeting with staff to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
• Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
• Offering solutions that meet the needs of the company.
• Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
• Maintaining Network Equipment/Servers and other hardware.
• Tracking and managing support tickets.
• Provide fast solutions in a mixed technology environment.
• Generating and Distributing Reports
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by the IT Director.

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelors degree in information technology or computer science or relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a technical support engineer.
• Strong Communication skills with the ability to work across all areas of business
• Ability to work independently
• Intermediate to advanced-level knowledge of: Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, VMWare, Cloud Hosting Platforms, Laptop Imaging and Asset Management, Wireless and Wired Networks, Firewalls and VPNs and Google Enterprise. Familiarity with IBM iSeries is not required but considered a plus.
• Knowledge of web services, APIs, and TCP/IP-based protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages a plus.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
