Accountant for a food manufacturing company located in the city of Vernon.
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st (8am-5pm)
Salary: $115K-$125K/Yr (D.O.E)
- BA in accounting or finance
- 5 Years of cost accounting experience (Food Industry a plus)
- Knowledgeable on ERP systems (SAP and/or Oracle)
- Strong Computer Skills (Familiarized w/ Excel and Access)
- Participates in month-end & year-end closing for assigned areas
- Responsible for all cost accounting arenas including Standard cost roll, multi-level bills of materials, direct & indirect labor, overhead rates & absorption and product cost development.
- Analyzes manufacturing operations & equipment availability
- Establish, Monitor & Enforces policies/procedures
- Overseeing & Valuation of annual physical inventory
