IPHI is currently recruiting to fill a Health Equity Trainer and Technical Assistance (TA) Coordinator for IPHI’s growing national health equity training and technical assistance portfolio. The Health Equity Trainer and TA Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering training covering health equity and anti-racism concepts in person and virtually, responding to health equity related technical assistance requests with external partners, and providing coordination and logistical support across trainings. The Health Equity Training Coordinator will work independently with support and collaboratively with other IPHI training staff, subject matter experts, project partners, and contractor teams in the following areas, among others: development and adaptation of training curricula and programmatic tools, delivering training, leading communications activities, scheduling and logistics, managing consultants, coordinating meetings and training activities, conducting data entry and analysis, record keeping and reporting, and improving training based on feedback.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Health Equity Trainer and TA Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
This position may require long periods of sitting/standing at a computer. The job requires lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasional walking (e.g., carrying materials for an on-site meeting).
QUALIFICATIONS
One of the following combinations of education and relevant work experience in public health, adult education, learning management, training, and development:
High school diploma/GED or Associate’s degree plus at least five years of relevant full-time work experience;
Bachelor’s degree plus at least four years of relevant full-time work experience; or
Master’s degree in a related field plus at least three years of relevant full-time work experience.

COMPENSATION
This is an exempt position with competitive benefits and an anticipated starting full-time salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience. Salary is contingent upon available funding. IPHI offers a flexible and collegial work environment and competitive benefits package, including vacation and health leave, health/dental/vision insurance, disability and life insurance, and retirement 403(b) plan and contributions, among other benefits.
LOCATION
Job location is flexible within the region, though regional and national travel may be required. IPHI has offices in Washington, DC; Largo, MD and Richmond, VA. IPHI currently has a flexible telecommuting policy, though some work time in an office environment may be required in the future, and some travel should be expected.
