Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Control Design: Design and develop PLC-based control systems for industrial automation, using Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Modicon PLCs. Configure SCADA systems like FactoryTalk, Aveva, and GE iFIX to monitor and control industrial processes.
- Example: Implement a PLC control system for a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Texas, ensuring reliable automation of the process line.
- PLC Programming & HMI/SCADA Configuration: Program PLC systems using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Sequential Function Charts. Configure HMI/SCADA platforms like FactoryTalk, Ignition, and DeltaV for seamless control and visualization of industrial processes.
- Example: Program and configure a Siemens SCADA system for a food and beverage facility, automating critical production workflows.
- Industrial Networking Design: Design and implement industrial networks using Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus TCP for communication between control system components, sensors, and actuators.
- Example: Integrate industrial automation systems across multiple locations using Ethernet/IP, providing real-time data across plants.
- Project Management & Client Collaboration: Lead automation projects, from developing project execution plans to commissioning systems at client sites. Maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success.
- Example: Manage a $10M automation project for a building automation system in the Dallas metro area, delivering on-time and within budget.

Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Experience:
- 10 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
- Expertise in Emerson DeltaV, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, and Modicon PLC systems.
- Proven experience in SCADA systems like FactoryTalk, Inductive Automation Ignition, and GE iFIX.
- Familiarity with Batch/Recipes, MES, OEE, and ERP systems.
