So, what will the QA Developer at CertiPath do?

You'll work in a fast-paced environment where you will take a hands-on approach to perform test automation and infrastructure development for all our products and services. You will be working closely with Product Managers and Development teams to ensure our products and services deliver the highest possible customer satisfaction in very challenging and demanding environments. Best of all, you’ll get to work with smart people to solve problems that make the world a safer, more efficient place.

What does a typical day look like for the QA Developer?

Although no two days will be the same, you’ll:

  • Execute projects as part of a high functioning test and QA program
  • Implement Test and QA methodologies that optimize the resources available
  • Be empowered to automate processes and solve problems
  • Prioritize tasks across several simultaneous test efforts
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining the flexibility to react to changing priorities
  • Build relationships to leverage corporate DevOps and Development assets
  • Work with many different platforms and technologies to solve complex automation problems
  • Seek creative solutions to overcome testing and QA challenges
  • Proactively manage relationships with internal clients and software stakeholders
  • inspect your own work and take corrective action as necessary to ensure the success of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology
  • Facilitate consensus building and resolution of complex technical issues
  • Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the QA Developer we’re looking for if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • 6 years of professional experience as a QA Developer
  • 2 years of experience developing automation in C# or Java
  • Proven skills in Visual Studio, scripting for test automation, open security testing standards and projects -OWASP, Selenium, and API Automation
  • Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
  • Experience building and designing test cases
  • Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
  • Experience building and maintaining automated test infrastructure and automation test harnesses
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

We’re extra impressed by folks with:

  • Knowledge of communication protocols, architecture, or platforms.
  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies and their application
  • Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) via the use of SDK’s and Web API’s
  • The ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • The ability to deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems and to think abstractly
