ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Repair small intricate mechanisms, such as crimper repair and automatic strapping machines.
• Perform conventional millwright jobs such as welding and pipe fitting.
• Read and interpret pressure gauges, mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematic diagrams, and other drawings, charts, etc.
• Use and interpret measuring tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, and other instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
• Possess physical dexterity to work in close tolerances
• Maintain working environment in a neat, orderly and safe manner.
• Perform recordkeeping and administrative duties as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
