Job Description

Position Summary:

Junior Recruiter provides support for the Talent Acquisition team in all phases of the recruitment cycle—initial resume and candidate screening via our applicant tracking system (ATS), sourcing candidates, phone interviewing and coordinating the interview process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on innovative approach to identifying and engaging talent to maintain a robust pipeline for high-volume needs
  • Manage customer relationships and communications
  • Handle all administrative functions associated with full life cycle recruiting
  • Target, screen and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Recruit for customer service, administrative, clerical, unskilled labor, and other general support roles
  • Oversee full lifecycle recruiting
  • Update online job postings on various job boards and at local college
  • Leverage multiple recruiting sources and Internet sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including databases, search engines, job boards, social media, user groups, blogs and news sites
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement process improvement strategies
  • Successfully manage candidate attraction for vacancies via a variety of direct approaches such as targeted outreach (on and offline), networking via relevant social platforms, referrals and general market mapping and industry networking
  • Assist as needed with team projects and administrative needs
  • Administer position specific skills assessments

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0 - 2 years of experience (Business degree preferred) or 2 years of related experience
  • Willing to speak up and ask questions when needing guidance
  • Desire to grow and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage work time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
