With our continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Mechanic to join our team in our Fond Du Lac, WI office.

The Role

• Provide support to lead mechanic
• Assist with maintenance and repairs to equipment and vehicles; replacing worn and defective parts, re-assembling mechanical components, changing oil, spark plugs, batteries, filters etc.
• Assist field personnel by delivering, replacing, and repairing defective equipment
• Repair and paint trailers and equipment as needed
• Assist with tracking and assigning equipment and vehicles to field personnel
• Assist with picking up and delivering material to several office locations throughout Wisconsin
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Class A CDL or willingness to obtain preferred
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to use power and hand tools
• Ability to read service and repair manuals
• Ability to meet pre-employment standards (background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen).
• Willingness to work in a wide variety of conditions including indoors, outdoors, ladders/heights, small spaces, assorted weather conditions, etc.
