POSITION SUMMARY The Financial Analyst for Tag provides sound accounting and/or financial analysis to assigned business area, account and/or site, using methods or procedures appropriate to the profession and within the company. You will be responsible for reconciling account statements, managing POs, and analyzing data. Excellent Excel skills are essential for this role. JOB DUTIES (* denotes an “essential function”) *Creates and distributes financial analysis and reports to management in accordance with established timelines or other ad hoc needs for assigned business area, site or account(s). *Calculates periodic price adjustments, maintains accrual/allocation logs, reviews and ensures the accuracy of invoices to provide effective financial partnership in accordance with contract(s); may distribute approved invoices *Uses financial analysis to contribute ideas for effective controls to maximize profits and to ensure conformity with budgets *Analyzes profit and loss statements, analyzes vendor pricing and/or equipment information, analyzes expense control reports, etc. to support business partners and apply financial administrative procedures that may reduce costs, improve efficiency and/or enhance client relationships *Ensures business area, site, account(s) are using established budget, billing and/or other financial templates to comply with financial timing and methodologies Assists manager with forecasting, budget processes, audits Monitors and updates preliminary sales and gross profit reports to use in analysis, as appropriate Assists in special projects to perform financial analysis using appropriate tools and practices JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field, or equivalent experience is required Minimum 1 year of experience in financial analysis Applies professional judgment to accounting or finance tasks in accordance with company standards Familiar with contract management principles, deal structures, client solutions and financial risk management within contract terms Able to conduct financial forecasts, pricing, budget management and revenue responsibilities Able to analyze financial statements and project results Able to adhere to timelines and produce expected results professionally within pressured situations Able to present financial information effectively both in writing and verbally Analytical, organized, self-motivated, confidential and ethical contributor to the business Advanced MS Office (example: Excel) and financial software user (example: PeopleSoft) Per New York state requirements, this posting reflects the salary range for this position for a New York based individual: $80-85k per annum. Compensation varies depending on job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs. For all other states, please inquire with the Tag Talent Acquisition Team.
