Tacodeli is an Austin-based restaurant founded in 1999 with roots in Mexico City. We have a healthy obsession with both the quality of our ingredients and the quality of our lives. The Title:

Back of House Team Member

The Role:

Our Back of House Team Members are the lifelines of our restaurants and focus on the production and operations of our food, which is the center of our restaurants.

What You’ll Do:

Back of House team members will work a variety of positions, which include but are not limited to the following duties:

• Line Cook, Prep Cook and Dishwasher
• Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, following food handling and food safety requirements
• Maintain product levels in assigned stations in order to be prepared for immediate needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming work environment
• Hold and store food items following food safety guidelines
• Inform management when inventory is needed
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas
• Maintains and cleans dishes throughout the shift
• Other duties as assigned

The Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or food prep experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• At least 3 weekdays and weekends of work availability
• Love to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds frequently
