Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION   

T.NETWORK, Inc. is a privately held US based logistics provider with a passion and focus on both the client and employee experience.  As a Sales Assistant, you will be instrumental in the growth and development of the international freight forwarding business of T.NETWORK, Inc. We are looking for someone with operations, sales and quoting experience to build and develop new customer relationships. Our primary focus today is mainly on the growth of the TPEB/TPWB tradeline for both air and ocean centered around highlighting our value-added services and consultive approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS   

  • Experience in setting up new accounts in Cargowise, accounting, INLT, and reporting
  • Support spot quotes such as air and ocean freight and LCL 
  • Prepare client quotations and presentation of proposal 
  • Able to manage and organize accounts that move strictly on spot rates in timely manner to keep rate card and cost updated
  • Take on the routed FOB, C&F business initially to determine their needs for future development 
  • Keep good communication between different departments  
  • Assist prospects for new business 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Great personality skill with the ability to interact with clients 
  • 3  years of successful sales experience in freight forwarding industries 
  • Strong drive to acquire new business and build client relationships 
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy, always be proactive in handling all matters 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs including strong ability to create and leverage Excel 
  • Highly motivated individual with ability to work and think independently, while still being part of a team 
  • Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping and Freight, or similar industry
