Job Summary

Provides full-scope C4I integration to military units in support of ground, airborne, and shipboard RF terminal fielding activities. 

Telework is supported at 100%. Travel is required at 25-50%.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provides support for MANET, SATCOM, Line-of-Sight (LOS), and High Frequency (HF) training events to various Military Service unit personnel. Assists in the development of compliant training material and ancillary products. Provides post-event phone support (as required).

Conducts End-to-End architecture reviews for integration of new components, subsystems, or enhanced capabilities within tactical or strategic communication systems. Conducts integration testing to include design and documentation of systems under test, test/use cases, test plans, reports, and summaries. Supports change management through participation in ERB/CCB's for the inclusion, integration, test, and fielding of enhanced capabilities for tactical C4I systems and family of systems. Provides analysis of end-to-end systems for the identification of capability gaps, potential areas for added efficiencies, and cost savings. Coordinates with operational units on all training requirements and prerequisites and ensures unit personnel has all training preparations completed. Supports training events to operational units which will include providing training of MUOS, MANET (ANW2, TSM), SATURN, HAVEQUICK, VULOS, HF (ALE, 3GIP, WBHF) capabilities, terminal planning processes and procedures, COMSEC management processes and procedures, and terminal operation procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least ten (10) years of general professional experience in the area of tactical communications. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in training and education of tactical communication systems. 

Must be knowledgeable in tactical communications, networking, and communications security. Must be a highly effective communicator and must be capable of speaking in front of large groups. Must possess strong MS Office knowledge and competency. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs. Must have the ability to conduct themselves in a highly professional manner in all possible locations including but not limited to an office, laboratory environment, and military installations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in techical field is preferred.

Certifications

Certifications in Security , Network , CCNA, CCNP, CASP, and CISSP are preferred.
