Job Summary

Finance Analyst position will be located on-site 5 days a week in Chesapeake, VA. Candidate will be part of a fast paced and results driven team. Candidate needs to detail oriented that can communicate with all levels of management. Demonstrate the ability to merge disparate data from multiple sources, perform financial forecasting, ad hoc reporting, metrics tracking and communicate the results to the customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Support corporate decision making by providing value-added reports and analysis including monthly and quarterly revenue and expense forecasting. Provide Ad hoc analysis and financial modeling with the goal of highlighting actionable insights to the business leaders. Provide timely ad hoc reports using advanced data mining techniques. Assist internal business units with project-based analytical work and pricing analysis, revenue recognition and interface with team leads, Managers and other business area leaders. Candidate will drive process improvements as necessary within financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

2 years of proven success in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Experience with relational databases, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Access skills Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines Strong communicational skills with all levels of Management Attention to detail § Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a Finance or Accounting focus

Clearance Requirement

Secret Clearance Required
