Job Summary

Design, procure, develop, integrate and test advanced technology RGS-A hardware and software capability to provide uplink and downlink capability to the Legacy SBIRS GEO, Defense Support Program (DSP), Next Gen GEO, and Next Generation Polar space vehicles. The Relay Ground Station Asia will be located in Guam and will provide connectivity between the satellites and end users.

Responsibilities and Duties

Support the research, development, engineering, design, integration, test, and checkout of electronic and communications equipment and sub-systems for the execution and integration of RGS-A. To include but not limited to, the development of technical documentation for the requirements, design, integration, test, and support of the system.
Support a variety of engineering tests, inspections, certifications and evaluations of RF and Electronic equipment for RGS-A. Support operational tests, checks, inspections, certifications, and examination of material conditions of equipment/systems. Then support the installation and equipment checkout for the RGS-A equipment and ancillary equipment.
Provide continued technical support in the maintenance, operation, and repair of installed equipment.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

3-years experience including but not limited to:

Experience with satellite communications systems 
Ground terminal equipment
Communications and networking equipment
Baseband communications
Requirements, design, and interface documentation
Communications systems test and evaluation

Clearance Requirement

Secret Clearance Required
