Systems Technologies is Hiring an Acquisition Specialist Near Aberdeen, MD
ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
The Acquisition Specialist will provide Integrated support to Tactical Networks at APG.This position will be hybrid (3 days per week on site/2 days per week telework).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and the fair opportunity process to award Task/Delivery Orders under multiple award IDIQ contracts.
- Familiarity with use of web-based tools and applications to accomplish work efforts to include SharePoint and Paperless Contract Files (PCF).
- Knowledge of Army Acquisition processes.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and AFARS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Previous Army Contract Specialist or Acquisition Specialist experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
TRAVEL
- Up to 10%
