S3 Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to provide management, business development skills, and military aviation knowledge in support of Aviation projects at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

Description: 

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing a complex aviation training government program with multiple operational sites staffed by military trained aviation platform training instructors and organizing project and task workloads within budget and schedule guidelines, supervises contract execution in accordance with a projected work plan.

Responsibilities:

• Develops meaningful and measureable metrics to facilitate progress assessments. Requires staffing, leadership, HR, contract, security, planning, and scheduling experience.
• Provides administrative control ensuring accomplishment of all requirements delineated in the contract, produces contract deliverables, and ensures contractor compliance.
• Executes the management tasks of staffing, developing approach and processes, forecasting and managing budget and schedule, and reporting through task deliverables that facilitate t coordination requirements.
• Advises Army Commanders and other principal leaders on strategic training requirements, personnel issues, training challenges, contract support matters, and current operations.
• Conducts continuous analysis of contracts execution to ensure FAR compliance, profitability, and quality control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; preferred a Master’s degree with emphasis in business or engineering 
• 35 years of total technical and management experience in comparable discipline or program- military experience and/or training preferred.
• 20 years of experience the in management of staff, budget, and schedule compliance (composite of military, industry, GS experience qualifies).
• Must have commanded aviation battalion / squadron or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel
• Must have Secret Security Clearance; preferred TS/SCI Security Clearance referred
