Responsibilities

ControllerThis is an amazing opportunity to work within one of the fastest growing Managed Services Providers. The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial closing and reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives• Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures• Supervises all staff accounting• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a controlled manner• Ensure that account receivables are collected promptly• Process payroll in a timely manner• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed• Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis• Maintain the chart of accounts• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions• Issue timely and complete financial statements• Manage outsourced functions• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts with CFO/Finance team• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings• This job description is not designed to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities required of the employee in this position, as duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Qualifications

Education• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration from an accredited college or university• CPA

Experience• Customarily has at least 10 years of technical experience• Customarily has at least 8 years of position specific experience• Customarily has at least 6 years of mentorship/leadership experience

Work is performed primarily in an office or remote environment; final location is determined by business need. May be subject to time constraints and tight deadlines. May require occasional travel.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $210,000

The information above is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. This is the anticipated starting pay range for Colorado applicants for this specific role. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work location and any potential licenses and certifications required for the role.
