We design & build customized applications for our dynamic 3PL organization and we are looking for someone to join our team that supports one of our top global technology customers. About the Role
How you will contribute
Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress OpenEdge application
Produce high quality software solutions within time and budget
Provide support of existing applications to an agreed SLA
Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning
Create innovative and dynamic solutions
Build software that supports multiple user interfaces (Web, RF Gun, Tablet, PC)
Integrate with 3rd Party robotics & automation
Facilitate and support on-site deployments of major projects
Other duties as assigned
Your Key Qualifications
Degree or third level qualification in IT, or equivalent experience
2 Years of experience in Progress/OpenEdge software development
Excellent understanding of relational databases
Experience in successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment
Working knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems
The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands
Ability to see the bigger picture and understand a global application focus
