Job Purpose:Recruits, advises and supports assigned departments by identifying staffing needs, sourcing candidates, and processes offers of employment. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports assigned departments by receiving recruitment requests from managers, meeting with the hiring managers to determine and evaluate the priority and hiring needs and communicates daily with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring goalsSources qualified candidates for assigned departments by developing and managing recruitment plans, soliciting, and pursuing referrals from applicants and internal referrals, sourcing candidates from the applicant tracking system using keyword searches and uses external recruiting websitesEstablishes rapport with hiring managers to ensure consistent interview and selection processes are followed, determining manager availability for interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring manager schedulesScreens applicants by evaluating candidate applications and resumes to ensure they meet the essential requirements, conducting phone screens and in-person interviews, and recommending candidates to other open positions for potential considerationPosts employment advertisements and sources candidates from internal and external websites, social media platforms, education establishments, career centers and job boardsAttends and participates in on-site and off-site hiring events, job fairs, and networking eventsContacts final candidates to make job offers, addresses all negotiations and counter offers with hiring managers, and coordinates the onboarding process with Talent Acquisition CoordinatorMaintains Applicant Tracking System by recording applicant interview outcomes, update candidates’ application and interview history, electronic record and note retention on candidate job search historyOther duties as assignedJob Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience1 year of recruitment or talent acquisition experience in a high volume, fast paced, dynamic organization1 year of experience using an Applicant Tracking System or similar software Desirable:Recruiting experience in a Hospitality or Gaming environmentFull-cycle recruiting in a high-volume organizationExperience working in a large team environment Skills and Knowledge:Essential:Working knowledge and understanding of Federal and State employment laws as it pertains to recruitingAbility to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with a sense of urgency and be self-motivatedAbility to be Detail-orientatedAbility to type or enter information and data accurately and timelyAbility to apply knowledge and make sound judgmentsAbility to interact effectively with a diverse candidate and team member populationAbility to communicate effectively in the English languageAbility to positively influence decisionsAbility to compose, read, and edit written documents in the English languageProficiency with database and word processing applicationsAbility to complete forms and documentsExcellent record-keeping and organizational skillsAbility to maintain professionalism and composureAbility to maintain confidentiality and objectivityAbility to provide effective verbal instructionAbility to understand and follow verbal directives and written directionsAbility to accept constructive criticismAbility to appear for work on timeAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hoursAbility to lift 20 lbs.Desirable:Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, TeamsWorking knowledge of Ceridian/ Dayforce/ SharePointMulti-lingualSupervisory/Managerial Accountability:Direct: NoneIndirect: None
