Sycle is Hiring a Marketing Operations Manager Near Lone Tree, CO

The Marketing Operations Manager effectively manages Sycle’s marketing automation tools to implement, monitor, track, and measure target audience and stakeholder response and engagement of approved communications and campaigns. The incumbent is responsible for the accurate source attribution of marketing activities that supports informed decision-making for marketing, sales, and product investments. The position also manages ongoing marketing automation campaigns to ensure brand and offer messaging effectively reach intended audiences and lead them to the desired engagement. Results-driven with a sense of purpose and urgency, this position is a hands-on role, managing individual external support resources when approved. This position is also required to maintain currency in best practices and mastery of responsibilities that lead to key contributions in the company’s success.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Automation/Web Analytics

  • Effectively manages Sycle’s marketing automation tools to implement, monitor, tag, track, and measure target audience and stakeholder response and engagement of approved communications, including individual emails and email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Coordinates with the Digital Marketing Manager on tagging, tracking, monitoring, and measuring performance of web- and media-related assets to ensure effective attribution assignment throughout the marketing and sales funnels and Netsuite.
  • Ensures the integrity and hygiene of all related lists and data inputs/outputs, tagging, and tracking to allow for informed decision-making on marketing, sales, and product investments.
  • Works with appropriate resources, including the VP of Marketing & Communications, to design and implement marketing automation workflows to effectively reach target audiences with approved campaigns. Effectively monitors and manages automation workflows to ensure optimal performance, making thoughtful recommendations for enhancements.
  • Partners with the VP of Marketing & Communications and other appropriate resources to design HubSpot respondent engagement flows that create a streamlined experience that fosters positive relationship-building and engagement with the Sycle brand.
  • Effectively manages campaign (lead generation, nurture, etc.) set up, implementation, tracking, monitoring, and reporting within HubSpot. Collaborates and coordinates overall program/campaign set up and implementation with appropriate resources.
  • Works with VP of Marketing to design, implement, and improve on the target audience and key stakeholder experience flow for HubSpot campaigns. Ensures continuity, consistency, and integration when appropriate with other experience flows including web, media, and website engagements, as well as the overall Sycle prospect/customer experience flow.
  • Utilizes the Sycle brand guide in the direct or managed development of marketing automation assets to provide critical graphic and messaging continuity with all activities.
  • Partners with the VP of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager, and other appropriate areas (Sales/Product) to identify and develop testing opportunities. Collaborates with appropriate resources for testing set up, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provides performance reporting on individual, campaign, program, and testing initiatives as agreed to with the VP of Marketing & Communications.

ADA

  • Ensures required compliance (ADA, GDPR, CPAA, etc.) of web properties and data collection tools and methodologies.

Programs/Content Support

  • Participates in the development of Thought Leadership, Lead Generation, Customer Marketing, and Partner Marketing programs.
  • Effectively manages the implementation, monitoring, and measurement of asset and activity tagging, tracking, monitoring, and measurement of approved HubSpot campaigns to support informed decision-making.
  • Works with the VP of Marketing & Communications and Digital Marketing Manager to develop an integrated marketing campaign strategy and calendar, which can be adapted to capitalize on changing priorities and opportunities. Leverages input from Product and Sales.

Information Sharing

  • Partners with the Digital Marketing Manager to effectively manage the master department program and activity calendar to ensure adherence to plans and schedules. Provide timely notification and remediation options to appropriate stakeholders for unplanned delays or impediments.
  • Inputs timely and relevant updates to the master company calendar to promote staff awareness and support of activities.

Other

  • Makes timely, proactive data-informed performance recommendations for individual, campaign, program, and testing programs that ultimately lead to increased target audience engagement and revenue.
  • Proactively identifies potential or trending issues and makes data-informed recommendations for improvement. Thinks ahead and makes recommendations for adjustments based on upcoming events or campaigns.
  • Manages related support resources as appropriate to deliver high quality work output that is on-time, on-brand, and on-budget.
  • Supports the VP of Marketing & Communications in additional matters as requested.

Required Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • HubSpot marketing or similar marketing automation certification.
  • Google Analytics and Google Analytics 4
  • Google Tag Manager

Required Experience

  • 5 years’ progressive experience and demonstrated expertise in marketing operations roles, with at least two years in a management role.
  • 3 years’ recent and direct experience and demonstrated expertise in developing and building multi-part, integrated lead generation campaign tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective measurement strategies that account for GDPR, CPAA, and other privacy-related compliance requirements.
  • 3 years’ recent and direct experience maintaining websites built in WordPress, including integrations with HubSpot or similar tools.

Helpful Experience

  • Experience in implementing digital performance metrics across channels and across systems.
