Swyfft is Hiring a Marketing Associate Near Tallahassee, FL

*This is a hybrid position in our brand new Tallahassee, FL (2 days in office/3 days remote). Some travel for conferences and trade shows will be required.

About the Position:

We’re looking for a creative Marketing Associate who is looking to learn and take their experience to the next level. In this position you’ll assist in the development and execution of our marketing activities and events, up to and including communications, copywriting, social media, content creation and more. Swyfft offers a fast-paced learning environment where no two days are ever the same!

Key Responsibilities: (What you'll be asked to do)

  • Partner with our Marketing Manager to develop captivating content for our key social media channels to increase organic lead generation.
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums (social media, website, email, etc.).
  • Plan, organize and travel to industry related conferences and trade shows to represent Swyfft’s brand with our Marketing Manager.
  • Assist with the development and editing of marketing materials, including white papers, agent quick reference guides and presentations.
  • Actively monitor and respond to marketing queries via email, social media, and phone.
  • Partner with our Marketing Manager on drafting professional responses to our Google Business Reviews and other related platforms.
  • Monitor and report on Key Marketing Metrics across our social media platforms.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the marketing and sales team, such as ordering promotional items for events.

The Successful Candidate: (what we're looking for)

  • You’re an expert social media marketing wiz that enjoys creating engaging content across multiple mediums.
  • You’re open-minded, motivated and have great client facing skills.
  • You possess expert knowledge and are well versed in best practices across all social media platforms.
  • You’re a do-er! In other words, you are a hands-on problem solver that knows how to get stuff done.
  • Both internal (your peers) and external clients commend your excellent verbal and written communication skills and the timeliness of your follow-up.
  • You have the ability to work independently or in team orientated environment.

Some Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in marketing, with prior experience in a B2B organization.
  • Insurance industry marketing a plus.
  • Excellent creative writing and proofreading skills are a must.
  • Skilled in writing and editing content, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for conferences/events.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or in a related field such as Advertising or Communications is required.

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Ability to communicate effectively using programs such as Slack & MS Teams. You are comfortable sharing screens and video chatting.
  • Intermediate level of experience with Graphic Design Software (Visme, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Prior experience building Zapier connections and/or HubSpot a plus.

  • This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days in our brand new Tallahassee, FL office/3 days remote).
