PURPOSE: 

Responsible for Maintenance department operations to include, but limited to, facility and equipment operation, equipment downtime data collection and analysis, and resource allocation. Working closely with all plant departments and outside contractors to establish priorities, availablity of manpower, availablity of equipment and spare parts to complete equipment/machine and facility repairs. Provide guidance for Maintenance department personnel on production prioritzation, production support, equipment improvements and adherence to policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain safe working environment
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Technicians, and Planning Department personnel.
• Develop TPM procedures.
• Plan and coordinate weekend and shut down project and work planning

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An Associates Degree Trade or Tech. School Industrial Maintenance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have one years’ experience in the maintenance field
• PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting
• Control system design experience with Allen Bradley preferred, Siemens a plus
• Knowledge of vision system, ABB robotics and Fanuc
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have experience managing industrial maintenance staff.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
