Switchfly is Hiring an UX/UI Designer Near Denver, CO

**REMOTE CANDIDATES IN THE US AND MEXICO WILL BE CONSIDERED**

We’re looking for a versatile and proactive UX/UI Designer to help our small design team make a big impact. At Switchfly, UX/UI Designers work closely and collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to advance our SaaS platform objectives and help our customers solve their biggest pain points.

About you:

You are a self-starter who is driven by insatiable curiosity and the never-ending quest for continuous improvement. You take ownership and accountability without letting ego get in the way. You are comfortable navigating change and ambiguity but are always striving to bring order to the chaos. You are stimulated by complexity and unfazed by new challenges or unexpected obstacles. You are perceptive, empathetic, and adapt your approach to suit the audience and circumstance. You are an articulate and tactful communicator who understands how to actively listen, craft a compelling story, and make a persuasive point. You bring your joy for life to work and inspire confidence, creativity, and drive in others.

Here's what you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with the Design team to help manage the team’s Kanban backlog of research and design enabler stories, interfacing with Product and Engineering to ensure a deep understanding of priorities, milestones, objectives, scope, acceptance criteria, and related functionality.
  • Provide realistic estimates and manage delivery expectations by staying on top of the details and proactively keeping stakeholders in the loop on progress, roadblocks, or delays.
  • Rapidly iterate on design solutions at any fidelity level and determine the most suitable deliverable to best suit each scenario, from quick mock-ups to clickable prototypes and detailed interaction and design specs.
  • Write unbiased user testing plans, execute remote research studies designed to generate quantitative and qualitative feedback, and evaluate and integrate results into design direction.
  • Present and defend design rationale and key milestone deliverables to colleagues, as well as internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Help translate clients’ specific needs into solutions that benefit the broader platform when tasked with professional services initiatives.
  • Approach design challenges from a systems-level mindset, always trying to find solutions that scale and flex to accommodate wide-ranging variance in data, branding and theming, language, currency, and content.
  • Work within an evolving design system, helping identify high-priority gaps and opportunities for iterative improvement.

Your skills and experience:

  • 2 years responsive web UX/UI design experience (specific travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or white label SaaS experience a major plus)
  • Experience working with remote user testing platforms (e.g. userzoom.com, usertesting.com) to run unmoderated user research and usability studies.
  • Solid understanding and practiced incorporation of web accessibility standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with frontend engineering frameworks and languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process (bonus points if you’ve worked with SAFe)
  • Experience with Jira preferred

We exist to positively impact the way people travel, enriching lives through unique opportunities tailored to their individual desires.

We pursue our vision via our SaaS e-commerce and fulfillment platform that powers white-label dynamic packaging and loyalty redemption solutions for global travel, hospitality, and financial services companies. At Switchfly, we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot consider any candidates requiring Visa support.

Switchfly offers competitive base pay with bonus opportunity, 401k with match, and a full suite of health benefits and plan choices with an average of 87%* of premiums covered by Switchfly. We offer a flexible work environment and work-life balance with unlimited paid time off. Switchfly closes the office between Christmas Eve and New Years to make sure employees spend time with family and friends or doing whatever they love most! For those local to Denver, we also reimburse parking, provide catered lunches on Tuesdays, and keep an office stocked with snacks and drinks.
