**Hybrid Role**

This role will work alongside an experienced Accountant and directly support our Assistant Controller and CFO in a variety of core, recurring areas of responsibility in addition to a wide assortment of ad-hoc and project-oriented assignments. Some of the primary goals of this position will be centered around gaining efficiencies, fortifying internal controls and procedures, and facilitating scalability in preparation for future growth. Critical finance processes in which you will have key responsibilities include accounts payable and purchase orders, month-end close and GL maintenance, account reconciliations and workpapers, financial analysis, audit and tax support, cash flow, reporting, and GAAP accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, process accounts payable and disbursements
• Review vendor contracts and process related purchase orders
• Assist with weekly cash forecasting
• Reconcile and record corporate credit card activity
• Process expense submissions (Concur)
• Assist with Reconciling balance sheet accounts including prepaids and accruals
• Assists with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
• Record monthly journal entries for accruals and other expenses as needed
• Prepare and submit various tax filings (e.g. sales and use, 1099s, etc.)
• Implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed in accordance with GAAP
• Participate in process improvement including streamlining and strengthening internal controls
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform analysis as needed
• Support annual audit processes (e.g. financial, 401k, etc.) including gathering and preparing information requests/schedules and assisting with questions
• Apply cash receipts and monitor accounts receivable balances
• Assist with expense allocations and intercompany accounting processes
• Support accounting activities between onshore and offshore entities

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Intermediate MS Excel skills required (VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Teamwork-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where change is normal; strong multi-tasking skills, and flexibility to alternate from one project to the next quickly

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience including financial close
• CPA, or path to obtaining CPA, a plus
• NetSuite (or other similar ERP) experience preferred
• Experience working with Concur a plus
• Travel industry experience is a plus but not required
