What is a Transport Driver at Swire Coca-Cola?
As a Transport Driver, you play a key role in keeping our Production & Warehouse facilities in sync and running smoothly. You are responsible for inspecting finished products, verifying loads and managing other necessary paperwork, prior to and after you transport finished goods from the production facility to the warehousing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving and transporting finished goods from production facility to warehousing facilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers
- Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Landing and other paperwork as required
- Maintain vehicle, product and equipment to company standards
- Connect or disconnect trailers at destination
- Other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- Must have a valid Class A CDL License
- 1 years of CDL driving experience
- Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (Monday - Sunday) and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Employees and families offered Medical, Dental, Vision; union pension with employer contributions; Sick pay awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours work, annually 7 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays; Vacation of 40 hours available next calendar year; Eligible for paid Bereavement and Jury Duty.
