JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision and under established warehouse procedures, these individuals are responsible ensuring the smooth transition of product from the receving raw materials to shipping the finished product out to customers or the Company’s various distributio centers around the country.
Hourly rate ranges from $19.00 to $20.25 depending on experience and role assigned
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
If assigned to receiving; unload product and ensure all quantity and quality requirements are met, all paperwork matches, and all receiving requirements are met according to the receiving record.
If assigned to shipping, responsibilities also include loading outbound trucks using the appropriate equipment
Observe cleanliness of truck and keep all coolers and work areas clean and free of debris.
Replace any defective bar codes or labels
Notify Supervisor or Manage of any damages, shortages or discrepancies; coach other employees on how to do the same
Properly slot products according to “Put Away” function on RF Scan gun
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a manager that is compliant with Company safety rules
Plan and execute the movement of materials to ensure the efficiency of warehouse operations
Stocking and retrieve product stored at various levels using high lift equipment to lift, carry, move and position palletized materials in the appropriate place
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to learn in a hands-on environment.
Basic understanding of meat manufacturing operations prior experience with meat business preferred.
Able to operate an pallet jack and a forklift
Experience with Inventory Control processes.
HS Diploma, GED or higher preferred; but experience will be considered in place of education
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work regularly in temperatures are near or below freezing (Coolers, Loading Dock Freezer)
Work in damp or cold conditions (20-30 Degrees-Fabrication)
Work in areas that require you to lift, pull, or push 50 lbs.
Willing and capable of working overtime when necessary
Available to work Day and Nights
Willing and capable of working Saturdays
Lifting Stacking and working in a cold environment
Handle complex operating equipment or handling delicate loads
