This rapidly growing, ever evoling Long Term Care Facility seeks a nursing leader to steward its team. A Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 or more years of Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience is prefered, along with knowledge of current state and federal guidlines with knowledge of infection control processes.
Excellent Clinical leadership as evidenced by current (or most recent) facility's CMS Rating and QA ratings.
Strong understanding of Federal and State regulations.
A clear and demonstrated understanding of financial stewardship.
Experience with PCC/eMAR.
Purpose of the Director of Nursing Position
The primary purpose of the DON role is to plan, organize and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
