Job Overview:

Do you like to bake cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies that are artistic masterpieces? If so, we are seeking a talented Baker at Sweet Dee's Cupcakery and Custom Cakes! Your challenge would be to "wow" our customers with delicious, fresh, and from scratch sweets. We have positions available and are looking to add perfectionists who have a love and passion for baking! Our bakery is equipped with all the tools you need. Enjoying your job is important and hard work is valued.

A General Idea of Daily Duties:

  • Reading and following specific recipes.
  • Understanding and following specific processes.
  • Preparing dough, batter and frosting.
  • Loading and unloading baking oven.
  • Operating mixers and other bakery equipment.
  • Frosting cupcakes.
  • Ensure a high level of product quality and freshness in everything you produce.
  • Upholding our high sanitation standards throughout the day.

Our Work Environment:
We make fun and yummy treats and we would like our work environment to be a reflection of our products! Happy and hardworking individuals are valued at Sweet Dee’s. A Baker will be required to be on their feet for the majority of the day. There will be a lot of walking and standing as well as some lifting and carrying of ingredients. Typically, you would not lift more than 25 pounds, but we do have ingredients that weigh up to 50 pounds.

Starting pay based on qualifications. Eligible for pay increases based on performance. Hourly rate will be based on your availability to work and skills. Additional compensation provided by tips.
