Together we’ll be: 

Creating our legacy by providing engineering solutions for our impressive list of clients. 

What you’ll do:

• Design power systems, including layout and circuiting of receptacles, miscellaneous equipment, mechanical equipment, and completion of panel schedules. 
• Design lighting systems, including lighting fixture selection, layout, circuiting, and controls for interior and exterior applications.
• Design of basic electrical one-line diagrams.
• May engage in business travel for client meetings, field surveys, etc.
• Be responsible for fostering and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers, team members and clients.
• Participate in seminars and training events to stay current with industry trends.
• Follow all required safety procedures in the field and in the office.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
• Must have successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or be willing to pass the exam within the first 60 days of employment.
• The ability to positively contribute to the dynamic Swanson Rink team environment and its industry leading position.
• The ability to learn theoretical knowledge to achieve cost-effective, constructible design solutions.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively; to express ideas; to share information; and to prepare clear, well-organized correspondence, reports, and similar documents.
• To be authorized to work in the United States and have proof of COVID Vaccination. 

Salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
