Ideal Candidate
The Senior Clinical Lab Scientist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of technical procedures on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in all disciplines of the Clinical Laboratory, including but not limited to: Transfusion Service, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis and limited Microbiology. Provides technical support for problem resolution, regulatory compliance, and client issues to the Department Manager and Lead Technologist. Responsible for validity of test results, result reporting, specimen handling, and maintenance of necessary department records.
Licensure
- California Clinical Lab Scientist License - CLS-L (Required)
Experience
- 6 mos-2 years. A minimum of 6 months of experience in an acute hospital clinical laboratory working as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Generalist competent in all modalities including Transfusion Service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.61 - $69.88 per hour
