Raccoon Valley Radio is hiring for our Program Director position. This position includes an on-air shift as well as management duties. You’ll plan, direct, and monitor the on-air, news, and sports staff focusing on local news and information for our listeners. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:

-Hosting a morning air shift during weekdays and rotating weekends

-Managing the on-air staff including announcers, news, and sports

-Create schedules for on air staff and sports

-Write and produce ads, promos, and liners

-Represent the station at events and remotes

-Scheduling programming templates

-Some engineering/computer knowledge is required

-Live severe weather coverage any time there’s a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning in the listening area

-Website updating including obits, news, and sports

Pay: $42,361.00 - $50,531.00 per year
