We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with strong accounting skills to be part of the Finance department. This role is suited for the individual seeking opportunity for growth and development. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant should possess the ability to conduct a wide variety of intricate and complex accounting duties and projects. An ideal candidate for this role should have excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills, and the ability to create and maintain a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: 

• Develop and assist in implementing accounting best practices for the Finance & Accounting function 
• Access and process all company AP (Accounts Payable) invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors
• Review expenses, including payroll, for multiple corporate entities 
• Reconcile revenue from high volume ACH and credit card transactions to the merchant processor
• Responsible for daily cash transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage and reconcile Intercompany and Related Party accounting for multiple entities
• Maintain accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures 
• Month end closing processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting and journal entries. 
• Ensure timely and consistent process for maintaining financial records and documentation 
• Support monthly financial budget and variance reporting 
• Assist with required tax filings 
• Perform other assigned accounting, finance or administrative tasks as required
• Have the ability to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements and meet timeliness in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

• Minimum to 5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Preferred) 
• Knowledge of MSFT Business Central ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) highly preferred 
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) principles including software development, shared services, ASC 606 
• Experience Importing data from foreign systems to handle accounting and reconciliation requirements 
• Experience handling Intercompany and Related Party accounting for multiple entities
• Experience with accounting and finance tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and QuickBooks, preferred 
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a customer service orientation towards related internal and external partners
• Self-sufficient problem solver with a roll up your sleeves attitude
• Must be a self-motivated, reliable individual interested in joining our rapidly growing organization.
