Superior Plus Propane Talent Acquisition is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Wayne, PA

Superior Plus propane has an exciting role for a Data analyst who will support the Health Safety & Environment department. This position reports to the Director – HSE. As the Data Analyst, you will lead the analysis and reporting of accurate HSE data for Superior. This role involves the preparation and provision of regulatory, business critical and ad-hoc HSE reporting and key metrics. The role will work closely with HSE and Operations teams to drive consistency and standardization across business processes. This position will also provide support in the administration of several key HSE programs and initiatives. If you are proficient with gathering information from several platforms and creating insightful reports using PowerBI, pivot tables and other enhancement technology, then we want to talk to you! Key Objectives: Work closely with internal stakeholders to collect and consolidate data from various sources to perform analysis, monitoring and validation of KPI’s (key performance indicators) related to HSE Create, review and validate monthly, quarterly and annual data submissions relating to HSE performance metrics for all operating markets Collection of data and development of reports on critical risk and the effectiveness of existing controls Provide support and coaching to internal stakeholders to improve the integrity of data input to support HSE reporting Develop, test and document robust analytic models for historical analysis, identifying trends, monitoring performance and to facilitate and provide evidence for continual improvement Provide input/advice for the development of robust and consistent metrics inclusive of leading and lagging indicators Utilize continuous improvement tools and techniques to contribute to improving processes and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE governance and reporting frameworks. Liaise with external vendors to ensure that HSE systems support Superior’s behavior-based safety initiatives Act as the key point of contact for complex problem solving, technical, safety and health performance and analytical advice. This may involve producing ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support key decisions and strategy Analyze market trends, incidents and provide analysis on material risks, critical risk exposure, and risk management to the HSE Director Other HSE related activities as requested by the HSE Director as it relates to administrative support of various HSE programs and initiatives. Education, Skills, and Experience: BA/BS degree in analytics related to business administration or similar field Minimum of one to five (1-5) years of work experience, preferably in a safety or environmental analytical role and/or related industry experience. Proficient in the use of the following software packages: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Expert in critical software such as Excel using pivot tables, macros, lookups and PowerBi Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, innovatively and laterally to identify issues and develop recommendations to solve problems. Proven and effective stakeholder management experience and an ability to communicate clearly and convincingly to influence outcomes with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work under pressure in a self-directed environment and deliver to deadlines Strong organizational skills and comfortable managing multiple tasks at the same time. Good communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and experience in managing an administrative system. Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
