Job Description

Objective: To ensure that the company's materials and products meet all of their required specifications. To locate key suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreements with them on behalf of company to get higher quality goods at the best value possible.

Job Duties:

• Purchase requisitions and purchase order management
• Material and supply sourcing
• Vendor relations
• Department manager relations
• Job costing
• Job coding
• Materials and supplies receiving
• Inventory management

Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of state contracting laws, regulations and procedures.
• Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures
• Experience with purchasing and materials sourcing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, departmental managers and customers.
• Ability to present detailed reports of findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with Quickbooks preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
