Superior Forge and Steel is Hiring a Laborer Near Pittsburgh, PA
- Assist machine operators loading and unloading machine
- Check machine line-ups at the start of each shift and bring rolls to machines if needed
- Load and unload trucks
- Shovel turnings from machines and place in appropriate containers
- General housekeeping/janitorial duties
- Fill out receiving reports and daily production sheets
- Load and unload annealing furnace
- Learn different roll conditions and proper flow throughout the shop
- Learn the proper use of straps and cables
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs
- Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
- Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Must be able to work shifts and overtime as needed
- Prior experience in factory or foundry preferred
Classification: Hourly
Benefits: Eligible after 90 days; Includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, and paid holidays
