Job Summary

Performs assignments as directed by the Facilities Manager. Monitors and maintains building equipment and structures to high operating standards to provide a quality and safe experience for our members, guests and staff.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred
• Trade skills are preferred, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, facilities maintenance
• Ability to work independently, take direction, and work on a team
• Must have transportation and flexible hours
• Respect the environment, peacefulness, and tranquility of the spa environment
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, stoop, and bend, can stand for extended periods of time; can lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as needed; can walk up and down stairs
• Ability and willingness to follow all company, local and federal guidelines
• Communications: verbal and written

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Facilities Maintenance

• Repairs and maintains property and equipment using skill and proper tools
• Making repairs to damaged property and equipment
• Assemble and install items as needed.
• Basic hand and power tool operation, skills, and safety knowledge are a necessary part of the position
• Performs preventative maintenance in all areas of the spa
• Some maintenance and upkeep with pools, spas, and equipment hardware

Risk Management: Maintain safety standards.

• Assess the property for potentially hazardous situations including but not limited to icy/snowy/slippery surfaces, misplaced tools/equipment, dangerously placed hoses, and extension cords, infected/unsafe/unpleasant water, trash/debris in common areas, etc. report hazards to Facilities Manager
• Carry out safety tasks to maintain a safe facility environment
