Sunvera Group LLC is Hiring a Human Resource Coordinator Near Bingham Farms, MI

Description

 Sunvera Group is looking for a full time Human Resource Coordinator to join their team. The Sunvera Group is a rapidly growing healthcare organization focused on supporting our partner doctors in the eye care space. We currently provide HR support to 11 practice groups across Michigan and 1 practice group in Ohio.

The Human Resource Coordinator will be based at the Bingham Farms office and assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department in areas such as recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, reporting and other administrative duties. 

This position comes with a wide range of benefits including a health care plan option for $0 cost to the employee. 401K with company match after 90 days. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Assists with recruitment for organization by screening resumes, initiating interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Initiates new hire orientation 
  • Assists with the preparation and reviews biweekly payroll.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 years experience in a HR related position. 
  • Paylocity experience preferred.
