We Are Hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist

Schedule: Full-Time: Day

Location: Spokane Valley

We are an award winning, locally owned care facility serving the Spokane community for over 70 years. Our services include short and long-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, adult family homes, mental health, memory care, and home health. Our goal is to ensure we treat everyone in our care with respect and dignity while providing a comprehensive system of services. We are looking to grow our team of resident care professionals with dedicated staff who can deliver quality resident care while growing their skills as a member of our team.What you will be doing as a valued member of our team

· Responsible for ensuring that billed claims are in compliance with federal and state and payer requirements.

· Complete the billing of all payers.

· Handle and resolve all billing, follow up and denial issues.

· Manage Accounts Receivable.

· Manage statements and monthly aging reports.

· Performs pre-billing audits as necessary.

· Assist families and residents with Medicaid questions, applications and eligibility reviews.

· Utilize multiple electronic billing, medial retrieval systems and payer websites.

· Answer and research all billing inquiries.

· Provide customer service and answers phone calls as necessary.

· May perform additional duties as assigned.

· Monitors status of payer contracts and completes credentialing paperwork as directed.

Education/Experience:

· A minimum of 2- 4 years post-acute care related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
