SunPlus Data Group is seeking a Business Analyst to work for a State Government facility in Richmond, VA.

This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend

Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week

Pay is $50/hr W2 hourly or $56/hr 1099 (CTC)

It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, to make you aware of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.

JOB SUMMARY:

The State of VA seeks a Business Analyst with documented experience. The Business Analyst will will work alongside a DBHDS Senior Project Manager on multiple EHR projects they will help to review business operations, assess evolving business ideas, liaise between groups and offices, and communicate recommendations to the assigned reporting structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders
• Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics.
• Liaise between various business departments and groups
• Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
• Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
• Document the findings in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional team

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Gathering business requirements from stakeholders
• Gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information
• Capturing key elements during meetings and brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals
• Presenting work results and recommendations in a written report or a verbal presentation
• Expert level skill in MS Excel, Vision, and PowerPoint
• Gathering and analyzing requirements related to data management, reports, and analytics
• Experience with health information systems
