Job Description:

The Site Surveyor gathers all required site information for the development, design and engineering of solar and any other projects. The Site Surveyor works with all departments within Sun Solar LLC and has an understanding of the operational time sequence and process of all projects. This position requires a wide range of construction and electrical knowledge.

Job Duties:

  • Gather all needed information from the job site this may include but not limited to: Site Pictures, Roof and Ground measurements, customer concerns and considerations.
  • Adhere to any other design related tasks.
  • Prioritize work order for all assigned work items.
  • Assist and help maintain internal Design Department processes and document templates.
  • Follow department procedures for data backup and the storage of critical project design files.
  • Collaborate with Engineer on Department Directives and Processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team regarding operations process development and daily project matters.
  • Interface with Clients as necessary to ensure excellent Customer Service.

Job Requirements:

  • The ability to drive for extended periods of time with the possibility of staying overnight.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of construction, electrical and/or related experience.
  • The ability to work with others as a team.
  • The ability to effectively communicate all information gathered from the field.
  • Strong customer service skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • General working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Strong initiative, problem solving skills, and capacity for change with new developments.
