Friendly, fast-growing mental health agency seeking a position for a Full-Time Transportation Specialist. This position is open to candidates available Monday-Friday 11:00 am-7:00 pm.
Essential Functions:
· Provides transportation to and from the offices, the recipient’s home, and/or community-based waiver services.
· Ensure that transportation vehicle is clean and welcoming to recipients.
· Ensure that transportation vehicle’s gas tank is filled before each work day.
· Report any issues with vehicle maintenance as soon as possible.
· Maintain good driving record.
· Open and close the doors of the vehicle for all recipients.
· Open and close doors to the buildings of any destination that you are driving your recipient.
. Confirm recipient’s demographic and trip information is accurate with Transportation dispatcher as well as the recipient, receiving the service prior to rendering service.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
· High School Diploma and 2 years of driving experience.
· Exhibits professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on outstanding customer service.
· Ability to interact with people from diverse cultural, ages, genders, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
· Ability to set appropriate boundaries.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from recipients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
· Bilingual is a plus!
We are located at 6266 Dupont Station Ct. E, Jacksonville, FL 32217. Applicants must have their own phone, as well as provide academic and/or licensed records within one month of hiring. We provide a company vehicle to use during work hours. Candidate is required to have a good standing Active Driver's License. Employment pay is based off experience and availability.
